Our Doctors and Medical Staff

Dr. Amy O’Hara is the Medical Director of Derma Health Institute of Mesa. She has dedicated her career to aesthetic medicine, specializing in skin care for the face and body during the past decade. She has a staff of seven; including a board certified medical doctor, registered nurse, laser clinicians and aestheticians. She believes in the philosophy of non-surgical cosmetic treatments to help patients look as good as they feel. Her priorities are to the safety of her patients and achieving the results they desire. Her clinic has an impeccable safety record. She is certified as a specialist in Aesthetic Medicine by her medical board and is a founding member of the Naturopathic Board of Aesthetic Medicine in the State of Arizona.

Dr. O’Hara earned her BA in psychology from Kalamazoo College and her medical degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. Prior to her career in aesthetics, Dr. O’Hara was in private practice as a family physician.

Dr. Laree Hooker has a passion for aesthetics and has specialized in this field for many years. As the Medical Director of Derma Health Institute of Chandler, Dr. Hooker oversees her staff of physicians, nurses, laser clinicians and aestheticians emphasizing safety and results. She is certified by her medical board as a specialist in aesthetic medicine and is a founding member of the Naturopathic Board of Aesthetic Medicine. Dr. Hooker and her staff have a perfect safety record.

Dr. Hooker earned her BS in Biology from the State University of New York and her medical degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. Prior to her medical directorship at Derma Health Institute, Dr. Hooker was in private practice, specializing in anti-aging medicine.

Dr. Ann Elizabeth Watwood believes in increasing the beauty of the skin from the inside as well as the outside. Dr. Watwood is certified in laser skin therapies and injectibles such as Juvederm, Perlane and Botox. Dr. Watwood also specializes in women’s health, weight loss assistance, menopause management, and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy.

Prior to coming to Derma Health Institute, Dr. Watwood specialized in anti-aging medicine at the Insight Energy Medicine Center in Mesa. Dr. Watwood graduated with a B.S. in Pre-Med at Arizona State University, Magna Cum Laude, and received her Medical Degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences.

Kim Moffo R.N., MSN, received her B.S. and Masters degree in nursing from Indiana University. Prior to joining our team she owned and worked with her husband Dominic Moffo MD at a busy and highly successful medical laser skin care clinic in the Northwest Valley. She is a certified trainer by the Arizona Radiation Regulatory Agency and co-founded one the first schools in the valley accredited by the ARRA. She also has extensive experience and training in Botox and dermal fillers. She teaches and trains regularly for Cutera, Allergan, the makers of Botox & Juvederm, and the National Laser Institute in Scottsdale. She has trained numerous clinicians throughout the valley. She was on the Medical Advisory Board for Your Health Magazine and currently is a Clinical Advisor for the National Laser Institute. Prior to working in the medical aesthetic field she worked in emergency medicine, public health and was a Clinical Professor at the Purdue University School of Nursing.

Regina Picciuto is a certified medical laser skin care clinician by the Arizona Radiation Regulatory Agency and a certified aesthetician by the Arizona Board of Cosmetology. She is a micro pigmentation specialist and has her SofTap permanent cosmetic make-up certification. Regina has been involved in the medical aesthetics industry for many years and has a passion for the skin care industry. With thousands of hours of technical expertise in laser skin rejuvenation, Regina prides herself in educating prospective clients on what skin treatments best match their needs and designing customized plans. Prior to her employment at Derma Health Institute, Regina spent many years as an office manager and medical skin care clinician at two successful laser skin care practices in the Phoenix area.

Heather Quest is a certified laser skin care clinician and aesthetician and has been in the aesthetics industry for more than 20 years. Heather has thousands of hours of hands-on experience in medical laser skin care and aesthetic services. Heather prides herself in customer service and her extensive experience in this industry. She has a passion for educating individuals about the laser skin care industry and what treatments will best address their concerns. Heather is a certified medial laser technician through the Arizona Radiation Regulatory Agency and certified by the Arizona Board of Cosmetology in aesthetics. She received her B.S. from Northern Arizona University and received her aesthetics schooling from the Kar Che Professional Career Center. Prior to her tenure at Derma Health Institute, Heather was part of two successful aesthetic practices in Tempe and again in Phoenix.

Stephanie Betts is a certified medical laser skin care clinician and aesthetician and has many years and thousands of hours with laser skin care and aesthetic treatments at Derma Health Institute. Stephanie graduated from the Advanced Laser Training Institute and earned her aesthetics license from the Artistic Aesthetics School. Stephanie is certified by the Arizona Radiation Regulatory Agency and the Arizona Board of Cosmetology.

Jamie Hendrix-Swope has been with Derma Health Institute for many years and is a board certified laser skin care clinician and aesthetician. She graduated from the National Laser Institute where she received her medical laser certification and graduated from the Arizona Skin & Make-up Institute. She is board certified by the Arizona Radiation Regulatory Agency and the Arizona Board of Cosmetology.

Hayley Powers is a board certified laser skin care clinician and aesthetician. She graduated from the National Aesthetics Institute of Scottsdale and is board certified by the Arizona Radiation Regulatory Agency the Arizona Board of Cosmetology. Prior to joining our team she was part of a medical aesthetics practice in the Ahwatukee area.
