There comes a time when the fine lines and wrinkles don't look so fine anymore. If you feel like you need a refreshed look, you can do so with a dermal fillers treatment. Crows feet, lines, and wrinkles are all results of skin aging. While many consider dermal fillers injections to be for women, men are becoming more drawn to treatments over the years.

In fact, since 1997, the number of males who received a type of Botox treatment has increased by 88 percent. Nurse Karen Lachner-Bliss usually sees men come in for consultations around their 50s. A common procedure is reducing the appearance of lines around the eyes.

Patients will set up an appointment with a registered nurse like Karen to fix any lines or wrinkles they might want.

Throughout the process, the patient will have their photo taken from various angles, then smiles to reveal their lines. A nurse cleans the area and will mark where the injections will go.

After preparing the needles, roughly four to six injections are given to the patient, depending on the number and length of their wrinkles.

After just minutes the procedure is finshed, and the patient looks untouched.

Just last year roughly 75-,000 men had cosmetic procedures done.

For those who are new to dermal fillers, the results typically last eight weeks with re-treatments happening around the 12 week mark.
