IPL Photofacial Skin Treatments

Photofacial | Phoenix Ahwatukee Chandler Mesa Glendale AZA photofacial, sometimes spelled “fotofacial,” is a procedure where intense pulses of light are used to penetrate deep into the skin. This causes the collagen and blood vessels below the epidermis to constrict and results in reduced redness and age lines.

Benefits of a photofacial (also known as fotofacial) occurs gradually in the weeks following treatment. They include dramatic results in removing:

  • Age Spots
  • Freckles
  • Sun Damage
  • Spider Veins
  • Redness
  • Rosacea
  • Enlarged Pores
  • Pigment Imperfections.

Any body area can be treated including the face, neck, chest, and hands. Photofacials are done in a series of 3 to 5 treatments scheduled about 3 weeks apart with little or no downtime. After even one treatment your skin will have a more even tone with a smoother younger look and feel.

The 30 minute procedure is virtually painless, but can cause temporary redness and swelling which disappears quickly. Derma Health Institute has treated thousands of patients with the Photofacial through the years and millions of Photofacial treatments have been done world-wide.
