The latest advancement in the treatment of aging skin, ActiveFX is a fractional CO2 laser procedure performed in a single treatment with minimal patient downtime. During fractional treatment, only a portion of the skin’s surface is treated by the laser, leaving small “bridges” of untouched skin. This technique helps the skin heal quickly and enables patients to get back to their normal activities sooner.
ActiveFX targets the epidermal and papillary dermal layers of the skin and is ideal for treating conditions that manifest in the upper layers of the skin, including fine lines, dyschromia, and textural irregularities.

Erbium Microlaser Peel Skin Resurfacing
The laser resurfacing procedure (also called the Microlaser peel) removes the outermost layer of the skin. We customize each treatment based on your skin needs and its condition. The laser effectively treats fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, skin laxity, keratosis, and pigment problems. We produce dramatic results for men and women alike.
Prior to the Microlaser peel a topical anesthetic is applied for one hour to numb the skin. Then we will perform the treatment which will take about 30 to 90 minutes. We will instruct you on post laser skin care. There will be redness anywhere from 2 to 10 days depending on the depth of the treatment. And the results are impressive and will continue to improve for several months after. This procedure can be repeated one to two times a year, but just a single treatment yields substantial improvement.

The ActiveFX fractionalized laser skin resurfacing is available at Derma Health! It has remarkable results, single treatment and minimal downtime, using the UltraPulse® Encore™ CO2 laser. ActiveFX treats common complaints prevalent in the aging yet active ‘baby boomer’ population such as fine lines, wrinkles, skin laxity, freckles and ’age spots’, as well as other signs of photo-aging and sun damage.
